“After talking about a recent psoriasis outbreak I had had, Hannah kindly
suggested I use her Dermalux LED while having another treatment, to see if it reduced the patches on my stomach. We repeated the treatment a few more times and my stomach is now completely clear! I was beginning to feel like it wouldn’t go away so this has given me hope for the rest of the areas still affected.”

Psoriasis

Dull skin

Wound healing

Musculoskeletal pain

Post-treatment skin redness and bruising

How many sessions do I need?

Patients often love a single dermalux treatment after an in-clinic treatment as it can help to minimise any irritation, bruising and downtime. A single treatment can give the skin a beautiful radiance on the day/day before of an event.

An intensive course of 10 treatments, taken 2-5 times per week is recommended to treat skin conditions such as acne or psoriasis.

What wavelengths of light do I need?

Dermalux Blue 415bm – best for acne

Dermalux Red 633nm – speeds cell renewal, boosts collagen

Dermalux Near Infrared 830nm – Triggers healing and reduce pigmentation

Combination – We can select a combination of the above dependent on your needs.

How about home LED light masks?

Dermalux Flex is more powerful than home masks but regular use with a home mask can be worthwhile. Dr Hannah has done a review on Instragram @kindredclinic about home LED devices. We recommend the Current Body device which can be purchased through GetHarley (just ask us for a link).

Is Dermalux LED light therapy right for me?

Dermalux is safe for almost everyone. It is safe for all skin types and for breast feeding mums.

Safety in pregnancy has not been established. Please talk to KinDRed clinicians if you are pregnant.

Dermalux may not be appropriate if you suffer from light-induced headache, seizures, porphyria, lupus erythematosus, active cancer, albinism, eye disease or are taking medications that increase photosensitivity.

How much is the Dermalux LED light therapy?

20 minute add-on after another in-clinic treatment £30

30 minute stand alone session £50
